The brown label on the packaging did not make it clear what the adapter was for. I order multiple adapters and cables for various products I have and had to use this one as an exception. Other than that, this adapter works great and I regret not having bought it a few months ago. I had a TV that I've been using for a year and I was talking about the possibility of donating it. I am very happy!
