Review on Young Living Thieves® Dentarome Toothpaste by Carmen Polk

Great deodorant!

So the reviews that this is a good deodorant are actually true. I heard about it from a friend and tried it. It seems to work better than any natural deodorant I've tried. It's not as pasty as normal toothpaste like Colgate etc. It's much more watery and spreads easily. Applying a drop of it to each armpit with your fingertips is enough for it to last forever. I will say you should get used to your armpits being bright and cool/burning for a few minutes, especially if you shave that day (PHEW). But apart from that it's great. Didn't cause any reactions on my skin, doesn't stain clothes like some natural deodorants and VERY GOOD for a deodorant! Obviously it's not an antiperspirant, so you're still sweating, and if you sweat a lot (and depending on the fabric you're wearing) you might end up smelling a bit of BO toothpaste at the end of the day, but even regular deodorants can do it. It's not always all disguises. Having tried many brands of natural deodorant sticks I think I'll stick with them. This will take forever! I estimate I'm consuming about a gram a day (or less) - total. So if it's 113 grams, it should last around 113 days. give or take, of course. This makes it a fairly affordable deodorant. As for the toothpaste, I used it once because I couldn't find my toothpaste while traveling. It has the mouthfeel of coconut oil, it's salty from the baking soda and warm to the touch from the thief/clove essential oils in it. it doesn't foam like Tom's toothpaste or other regular toothpastes. But it works. Mint. Not my favorite as a toothpaste, but if all of those things don't bother you then it's probably great. I prefer Tom's for my mouth. But in my armpits it doesn't bother me! Lol - Carly
