It all started with one of our staples slipping off, probably wasn't tightened when we first installed it, then over time that slide wore out and we were left with a bracket that kept slipping out. This was exactly the bracket we needed to screw to the top underside of our kitchen countertop. If that's what you want it to look exactly like this picture when you view it (although yours may be slightly curved, imagine it's completely flat). If this looks like the braces you want, it almost certainly is. Very easy to install.
