I placed this device UNDER my high clearance car to deter thieves. I lost my catalytic converter to thieves last year. 1000 dollars. Next door, thieves pierce through fuel tanks to steal gasoline. I figured the tiny flashing light, only visible when you climb under it, would be a deterrent. So far, so good! Cheap insurance. By the way, the night sensor really works. I assume the batteries will last several months.
