Review on πŸ”Š Gmk 15.6" Portable Touchscreen Computer Speakers with Auto Rotation, 60Hz, Built-In Speakers, Adaptive Sync, Xpanel2, HDMI by Chad Vargas

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Updated rating: went from 3 to 5 stars.

I like the size of the monitor. I like the screen size. I like the weight of the device. I like the touchscreen when used as a standalone system. I like it, but when I set it up as an external display for my Canon XA55 Pro camcorder, the touchscreen doesn't work at all. This is the only reason I bought this item. Needless to say I am disappointed. I'd really like to keep this, but it doesn't work the way I'd like it to. Review updated August 20, 2021 After further research I found that the camera was not sending a full video signal to the monitor. I don't know why, but another external monitor I need to connect to the camera to increase the viewing window comes to the same conclusion. You have to set the camera to a lower power, but the view is still great. Image intensity and colors are excellent, but not at the level claimed by monitor manufacturers. This appears to be a camera issue and not the monitor manufacturer's fault. Upon my stumbling, I found that I could mount an external 6" monitor on my main camera and route the signal through the small installed monitor to the GMK's 14" monitor and use it as the director's monitor. That was my original plan and now everything works fine. So I finally like the GMK and I will keep it. Too bad there are no videos or photos.
