Review on πŸ”₯ Firestone W21 760 2400: The Ultimate Ride Rite Spring System for Enhanced Performance by Warren Hess

Revainrating 4 out of 5

So far so good: Air

Installation was pretty easy on a 2006 F350. The hardest part was removing the rusty fenders and adjusting everything properly so it would sit as evenly as possible on the axle. I was a bit worried about the bracket extensions that sit on the axle after seeing other reviews saying they collapsed under weight but this seems to have updated the thicker brackets so hopefully they will hold up. I had some issues with the large U-bolts wrapping around the leaf spring pack. When I tightened the two bolts the two tabs on either side started to flex/pull back but if they were too loose the u-bolts on the inside of the blade pack would slide up when the airbags inflated to 50psi what led to a vacuum The airbag platform was tilted a lot, which caused me some concern as it tilted the old brackets on the frame and buckle. This can't happen unless you have a factory 4" lift like I do. The best I could do was tighten the bolts to the point where the lugs started to flex, and then I stopped. That seemed to keep him from slipping. The bottom mount is still slightly tilted, but that doesn't seem to affect things and I can't fix it after a few adjustments. I use a Pull-Rite hitch with under bed frame mounts and all of the holes line up perfectly and don't interfere with the operation of the hitch. This kit is for several different frame configurations so things don't line up the way I think they should, hence the way I got it given 4 stars.
