Review on 💾 Sabrent Rocket Pro 1TB NVMe External Aluminum SSD | USB 3.1 Interface (SB-1TB-NVME) by Andrew Mclemore

Bought as I needed a quick backup for my Macbook Pro. I was running Time Machine backups on a NAS and wanted to add a full disk backup for emergencies. I use this disc with Super Duper. The speed of this thing is impressive. I'm getting over 1Gbps throughput by performing all writes. A complete disk mirroring including disk redundancy (512 GB disk at approx. 50% utilization) takes approx. 24 minutes. To say it's faster than my online Time Machine backups would be a gross understatement. I may need a second one to replace my time machine backups. I can happily recommend this drive as it works very well and is cheaper than buying an NVMe drive and enclosure separately.
