XS Great in Active Shorts
I'm 5ft 6" tall 125lbs but my waist is 27" and my hips are 36. I have a very small and it fits great! Not too big at the waist and falling down the leg just enough to be flattering. I've gotten them to wear under dresses so can't comment on how they perform when working out but love them and will order again.
