Like most Apple products, it is not designed to work with Android hardware or non-interface PCs. I've used dozens of SanDisk PCs and Android devices with a fully transparent interface. But NO, not in the case of Apple, you have to download a very "funky" interface (iXpand) and copying or transferring files is "sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't".
