These hiking poles are durable, foldable and easy to adjust. I appreciate the comfort of the handles as well as the easy disassembly into a size that can be packed or stored. They state that although they will break and fold, they are durable. I also like the bungee cord design as it avoids the problem of missing parts (yes, sometimes I lose things and then spend half the day looking for what's missing). I am 6ft and my wife is 5ft and these adjustments are acceptable for both of us to use so they will likely fit you too.
