Great quality and popular with people of all ages.

My son is 2 and loves this toy although he is still too young to make it himself. We will benefit a lot from this toy in the years to come. At this age I hold the base or quickly plug in the offset piece while he inserts the pieces. Sometimes I hold the base so he doesn't knock it off as he introduces his piece, then let go so he can see he's falling. This is a quality toy from a responsible company. I look forward to keeping it for my grandchildren. It's not very big, the only thing that could improve it is an expansion pack (older kids would prefer a lot more detail). From what I understand you will have to buy another set if you want more parts. I will probably do that when my son is older. My 10 year old niece also loved playing with this toy.
