Super flat profile, EXTREMELY QUIET, nice fan. The remote control and subsequent ability to change the direction of airflow without getting up on the bed is a huge plus as long as we don't lose it. No backup cable. 😅 A few cons - the instructions say "DO NOT connect fan motor to wall switch box." Unfortunately, our light/fan is plugged into a wall switch (our electrician assured us it's safe to use). This seems to be because the fan can't be dimmable, which seems silly given that the connected light is meant to be dimmed. It would make more sense if the light and fan worked independently. You need to find the remote control to turn on the light a little further back. I need two - one by the bedroom door to turn it on and one by the bed to turn it off. Light can be controlled but not very clear. If you hold the button down, it gets very bright and then starts to dim; but no lighting settings. Our latest fan brought more wind and 4 speeds; it has 3 and is refreshing but not bloated. Overall I'm very happy with the look of the fan and the light, but would recommend some minor tweaks to how it works. Still, for the low price, it's a good buy and I would recommend it.
