Does exactly what I want. It protects my neck and is invisible against the background of my outfit. My biggest concern was that it would just be a piece of fabric with some crappy foam with a logo on the top. The foam is fairly firm and only compresses with a decent amount of force (a full squeeze from me compresses it a bit, but not much, and I'm no small guy). I would trust this brace to greatly limit neck injuries in an accident. It also doesn't restrict head movement and I often forget I'm wearing it while driving. Sometimes I have to use my hand to make sure it doesn't come off (always zip it up btw because I forgot once and only used velcro in the middle and checked by hand while driving 70mph on the freeway and found that it only hangs around my neck because one of its curved sides where it splits in front managed to stay on my neck).
