Well, the 5% of people who don't like these cables are right. They are NOT CAT6A. Their quality is lower than most CAT5 cables and the data transfer rate is terrible. The failure rate with this cable from Cable Matters is terrible: over 75% data loss! I think the 550MHz bandwidth rating is essentially a lie. I replaced the cable with a known good quality CAT5E and the data rate jumped back to the expected 10Gbps with expected low error rates for a 20ft run. I even got a cheap 250MHz 5E/6 cable, one of the thin flat cables, and it worked better than the supposed CAT6A. Wow.
