Review on Graphic tablet WACOM One Small (CTL-472-N) black/red by Stanislaw Banasiuk ᠌

Nice price, good quality.

As far as I am aware, this is the most affordable Wacom model available today (2022). Thus, considering the pricing, I think it's reasonable to not have high expectations for the tablet and to note the modest dimensions of the working area and the decreased pen sensitivity compared to prior models as drawbacks. To me, this tablet is most suited for folks who are more at ease using a pen than a mouse while creating simple designs. Expert artists will walk right past this tablet without glancing at it. Despite the fact that I mentioned its portability and compact size in the pros section, you shouldn't bring this tablet on vacation with you. The tablet's screen is easily scratched, and it would be disastrous if you were to shake it while carrying keys or spare change. I didn't mark this as a con because it's rather standard for graphics tablets; many people just aren't motivated to move them about because of how big they are. Invest in a felt carrying cover or a graphite sticker for your workspace if you need to transfer the tablet without hurting it.

Pros
  • Quality construction. There is no lag or noise while connectivity, and this has never been an issue for Wacom. The necessary driver for Mac OS X can be obtained directly from the manufacturer's website. It can be stored in a large jacket pocket if necessary and does not require much room on the table.
Cons
  • In order for the pen's up-and-down motions to correspond with the on-screen pointer, a specific angle between the tablet and the table is required. This is more of an ergonomics issue with the tablet than anything else, as you quickly forget how it should lie after transporting and rearranging it, and there are no markings on the case (compare the design of this tablet to that of the WACOM Intuos S Bluetooth (CTL-4100WLK-N / CTL- 4100WLE-N) and you'll immediately know where to set it up on your desk). The port for the USB cord is on the side. Not really important, however it can be an annoyance if the wire has to rest against anything (like a laptop) because there isn't enough room on the table. It's worth noting that the identical WACOM Intuos S Bluetooth (CTL-4100WLK-N / CTL-4100WLE-N) that I mentioned before includes a USB cable connector on top, which is much more practical.
