We ordered two of these as they were at a good price. When we arrived one was broken on the edge. It was poorly wrapped in a layer of thin bubble wrap. There were a couple of airbags on the sides but nothing on the top and bottom, so if it was tightly fitted the . The other was surprisingly good and good looking. I sent the defective one back to have it replaced. The next came with chips on the edge - same packaging (first photo). Sent it back for a replacement. The next one came with a big tear on the rim and in the same packaging. Sent it back and now we were dying to get a usable one. The fourth replacement carafe was better packaged but there was nothing left in the box (second photo) and there was a chip on the rim and a few scratches. We've been beaten. Just sent it back and will try elsewhere. If you order one and it arrives safe and sound, I'd say you're in luck. We have repeatedly left feedback for the sellers, and maybe they will learn how to pack glass containers a little better.
