Let me start by saying that I've seen a number of reviews stating that this causes the left and right channel audio to switch, but I can report that with my Razer Kraken I didn't notice any inversion of the audio side per headphone. I received this item as an inexpensive replacement for the original that came with my headphones and if the product continues to work as well as it has now I will keep it as a permanent replacement. The male ends are clearly marked, and the flat cable is a nice touch. I gave it 4 stars because while there is nothing wrong with this product and it does what it was designed to do, upon closer inspection I can see that some of the corners were trimmed in production to keep the price down, but this should be expected.
