Review on Blocking Genuine Leather Wristlet Organizer by Mitch Warner

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Mostly excellent performance, some not

I bought the brown one. Leather as in the photo - good quality, oily and not too orange - ie it's not cheap leather, more orange than brown. The stitching is great - a real sin and a shame the thread is so light this wallet looks cheap - I don't know what the manufacturer was thinking but this wallet would have looked 1000% better if the thread color had been adjusted would be to skin color. Most of the inner lining is the same leather as the exterior (which I really like - a very premium detail), except for a separate zipped compartment lined with light beige stiff nylon material (I like that too, as does the black hole removed). effect so that I can see small change and bills well even in low light). The leather edge is excellent. The outer zipper of the money compartment is metal, looks nice, opens and closes easily, but doesn't close all the way - it only closes 2 sides instead of 3 and I almost got my wallet back because of it. However, upon inspection, I saw that the walls of the cash compartment extend to the metal zipper without any gaps, preventing paper money from falling out. Coins may have fallen out, but this cash compartment has the traditional design of an internal zippered coin compartment that splits the cash compartment in half, so as long as I remember to put the coins in properly, no problem. The cash compartment's fold-out side flaps are large enough to provide a wide opening for easy access - another thoughtful and quality feature. The coin pouch has a quality matching nylon zip pull with a beautiful metal zip puller in the same pale antique gold tone as all the metal hardware on this wallet. All the metal parts mentioned are another stylish touch - very sleek, well made and well matched. I was hoping to get the rose shaped metal buckle shown in one of the photos but my wallet has the sunflower shaped buckle shown in most photos - another nice touch and looks better in person. Unfortunately, the buckle only has one latch - that's a major flaw. One of the main reasons I bought this wallet was because it has all the card slots, but since there is only one latch I can't unlock the wallet to fill every slot. So I either have to leave the purse unlocked all the time, or not fill the purse all the way, or hope that the purse will stretch a bit over time. I'm counting on the wallet to loosen up a bit and in the meantime I'm going through my cards to rule out some lol. There's no pen loop, just two picture slots, but I can live with that for now. In summary, from my point of view, this wallet has a lot of great features, a few minor flaws and two major flaws (thread color and single clasp). I could find something better in local shops but that's not an option for me until a few weeks into my last Covid shot and I now need a new wallet. This was the option that most closely matched my criteria and will work for me for now. I gave it 4 stars because this wallet deserves it compared to the competition in this price range.
