I love this camera! I bought it just before my trip to Hawaii and took some (over 300 in total) really great shots! It's easy to use and takes beautiful pictures. I love that it can go underwater - the main reason I bought it. Pool shots are better than sea shots, but I ended up taking a lot of pool shots! I now have a video of my daughter (who swims like a fish) swimming underwater! That alone is worth the price of the camera to me. There's no way I can film this! Still images above and below the surface are great too! The batteries lasted a long time. It ended, but only after I took a lot of photos. I charged the battery every night. But it doesn't matter. Also, the battery should only be inserted one way, but as long as you're careful and look at both the camera and the battery, you shouldn't have any trouble inserting it the wrong way. Be careful, I read that someone put it wrong and had a hard time getting it out. The only downside to this camera, although not a major one, is that the XD card doesn't fit in my 4 year old desktop or my new laptop. You must connect via a USB port and upload directly from the camera. Again, if it takes a long time, you may have a battery life issue. Overall I still think this is the funnest camera I've ever had! If you are looking for a new, compact camera that can shoot absolutely anywhere and in any conditions, buy this camera!
