This device worked fine until the first battery died. Big numbers, pretty easy to set up, just worked. But when the first battery was empty about six months later, the numbers gradually disappeared. We replaced the battery (which our tester indicated had low voltage). With a new battery, the numbers are very, very dim; it's totally useless. We tried 3 new batteries and they are all the same - the display activates very little but is not readable at all. Summary: Works great for about six months until the first battery dies, then becomes unusable after changing the battery.
