I have had 3 pairs of Sperrys in the past so naturally I looked around for another pair when I decided to replace my last pair. I stumbled across these and really liked the combination of browning and tanning so I decided to take a chance (and just return them if they're not up to standard). Trust me when I say I'm glad I did! I've owned them for about 3 weeks now and wear them almost every day and have had no problems with them at all. Build quality is about the same as the Sperry, but the skin feels thicker and "lighter" than my previous Sperry. The most important thing for me is the insole, Sperry usually has a normal non-ventilated fabric insole. which always seemed silly to me to wear shoes without socks (sweat gets stuck and destroys the glue). On the other hand, Sebago uses what appears to be leather/cork/similar material with large vents. Now I haven't worn them long enough to know how they compare, but this seems like the perfect solution to my only problem with Sperry.
