UPDATE: (7/27/22) After 5 months, this battery barely eeks out 2 hours ON STANDBY without dying. Do Not Buy.ORIG REVIEW: This battery will not hold a charge longer than 9-12 hrs. of moderate use. Disappointing, since I had a better and decent experience last year with the same model. I've used it for 2 months/ 60 days and find that it needs to be recharged every day, if not more often. That was not the case with the last battery (same model) I ordered from RayHom.

While everything looked good out of the box and the price was right, I happened to run Dell hardware diagnostics and it showed that the battery wasn't charging fully, even though it was brand new. Perhaps I was just unlucky because this kind of thing does happen, but it is something to bear in mind. If you buy it, do a little testing to make sure it is fully charging and you're getting the battery life promised.

This was ordered based on reviews at revain and it works every bit as good as the original. Very pleased. Thanks for attention.

This battery came quickly and was much less $ than the one from Dell. I installed it quickly and easily on my laptop and so far it is working great. Just put it in last week. If there are problems later, I will repost. Need to completely power down the battery and then recharge it after installing.

Very disappointed in this product. Had to hire a professional to install it and it only holds a charge for less than 2 hours

First one would only charged to about 30%, then stopped holding a charge completely. They sent a replacement, that only charged to 60%, then stopped holding a charge also shortly after installing. Customer support was good though.

Watched video and installed this battery. After 5 days computer wouldn't hold a charge for longer then 10 minutes. I notified revain who promptly worked out replacement. I'm waiting for it to arrive. I'll write a follow up review once it arrives and I can test again.

originally bought 12/7/2020 originally only gave about 2 hours battery time (my original dell battery gave up to 4 hours time.) after 5 months battery lasts 'only up to 1 hour'. must always be near my electric power. i must replace it now. expensive price for low functioning battery.

First purchase didn't work, but the replacement works like a charm. Got 40Wh, but it's close enough! First battery would not hold any charge and died 7s after I unplugged the charger. The second battery I've been using for about a month and some and has been so nice getting about 2 or 3 days on and off use.

Great price and works as it should. I can not speak to the install process as I utilized bbuy geek squad for that. That's my feedback.

I installed this replacement battery fairly easily. Initially it appeared satisfactory showing 7+ hours remaining. I then left the laptop unplugged to drain the battery as per the enclosed instructions. However after only a few hours when I tried to start it to check the battery's status, I discovered it would not boot my laptop. Doesn't hold charge quite as long as promised, but is close to specs, and may level up a little after a few charge cycles. I say 4 to 5 stars so far.The included instructions (tiny print but good English) for maximizing battery health were appreciated.Installing it in a new-ish Dell laptop required disassembly of the bottom of laptop -- about 12 screws and some _very_ careful prying off the the tight back cover. Really easy to put in once you work your way through the removal of the Dell back case. Four screws and it’s out and replaced. I feel like the battery life runs between 3 and 4 hours, I think slightly less than the original battery, however it is still a good value for the money.

This literally gave my laptop another opportunity of life and usage. Before it was kind of like a desktop-laptop and I was tired of it giving up on me when I used it disconnected to the wall.

I'm not entirely pleased with the life of this battery. Installed in last week of May. 2021, and it reached "the end of its useful life" August 2022. The length of time from its charger was getting shorter and shorter well before the Windows 10 notice.

The battery comes well packaged, installation is fine, and it lasts about 1h30 from 100% to about 35-40%, which is already bad, even for a generic battery. The main problem is that once it hits somewhere from 35 to 40%, Windows complains that battery level is too low, and when I go and check, it's 6%. Happened twice already, on the first two cycles, so it's unacceptable and I'm returning it.

I used this battery for my laptop. It was easy to install. I’m not sure of the battery life since it’s new but I assume it will be good.

Battery went down 50% in about a half hour, then the rest of the way (the computer turned itself off) in about 10 minutes. However, the manufacturer personally contacted me, explained that the issue was probably an "accident", and offered to compensate me for the inconvenience.

I was leery, but I bought this because Dell OEM parts are not likely to become available. It fit correctly and appears to work. Firmware recognizes it as a Dell battery with what I assume is not a Dell serial. No problems over multiple charge cycles.

New purchase. After 2 days and going thru 3 recharge cycles, I'm getting less than 2 hours of usage on a full charge. No video gaming or intense computing, just basic internet browsing. Don't recommend.
