Much less than day makers. I tried a few others but they weren't compatible with the electronics, my 2003 Sportster and the high beams stayed on. This works as expected. Looks great. You will need to add a spacer between the headlight and the inner light ring to keep the headlight sealed when installing the trim ring. The factory light had a 4-pin rubber disc that can be remapped. Very bright in the low beam, so I don't mind that there isn't much of a difference in the high beam.
