My old screen protector had a few tiny tears and they started falling on me when I was using the phone in bed, but I still put off trying them to replace when they arrived...because it's always been such a problem in the past. They couldn't be easier to use. It comes with two things: a cleaning cloth, dust stickers, instruction stickers to help with installation, and a tempered glass screen protector. The only thing you'll need in addition to what's included in the box is rubbing alcohol or hand sanitizer to get rid of the adhesive residue left after removing the old protective film. If you have a lot of small tears, you should wear safety glasses. before you start deleting the old one. Despite the fact that the glass is tempered, small pieces sometimes flew off when replacing it. I took tweezers to slightly lift the single untorn corner and slowly moved it forward/toward the center until it came loose. If you use dust stickers on the surrounding surfaces in addition to the screen, dust will not fly in when you attach it. The touchscreen sensitivity is actually better with this screen protector than the one I received when I bought my phone from the Verizon store. . I swapped out two screen protectors in about 15 minutes (including cleaning) and they both come true and bubble free.
