Review on Master & Dynamic ME05BL: Exceptional Precision Brass In-Ear 🎧 Earphones with Separate Remote and Mic, Stunning Custom Design [Black] by Mary Beauchene

After purchasing countless products from Revain, the customer reviews are really very helpful (other than those one liners and general comments). Therefore return the benefit to future customers. Having used and owned a long list of headphones (Etymotic, Brainwavz, Beats, Sennheiser, Sony, Samsung, Apple, Bose, etc.) and after extensive research, the final choice was the M&D ME05 over the B&W C5 S2. After reading about quality issues at B&W, I settled on M&D. As the ME05 is a relatively new product from a recently formed company, reviews of the ME05 are sparse. At least there were no negative reviews. I use a range of MP3 players for casual listening, but specially designed DAPs (Digital Audio Players) for serious music listening in over 15 languages (classical, rock, folk, blues, jazz, country, etc.). Besides normal smartphones (Samsung Galaxy, Sony Xperia Z3 Compact, iPad, rMBPro, iPod Nano) I use iBasso DX90 and Astell & Kern Jr. for critical listening. M&D absolutely delivers. PLUS: Amazing workmanship; nice fit, nice warm sound without overwhelming bass or treble, clear reproduction of the human voice, instrumental clarity and good balance between high and low frequencies. Of course, there are slight differences in the sonic texture between the two DAPs that have nothing to do with the headphones themselves. M&D's attention to detail is refreshing and the packaging is reminiscent of Apple products. Smooth. The smell of leather (a round, chic storage container) is truly visceral. The additional filters and SML sizes are nice, although I ended up going back to the default size. MINUS: The only issue for me is the noise of the wire as it rubs against your body. Even after using the included clamp for stabilization, I still hear a thud when walking. YMMV. So for some it may be a big problem to use them while walking, others may not hear it. When walking, I had to switch back to the Grado S80e headphones. For those who want accented bass, look elsewhere (beats?). I like that it's balanced and flat, just like the artist intended. Would I buy this again? Absolutely! M&D just got a new fan. You have to listen to it for a few hours to really feel it. It almost keeps you warm. Excellent purchase! Hope this is helpful.
