Switching from halogen to LED is worth it!
I found that with the halogen dome lights in my 2001 Nissan Xterra, it was much more difficult to read a small piece of paper or even a book. I installed an N3 DE3175 LED bulb in the dome light socket above the driver and passenger side. The light improvement is enormous for me! You can see the difference in the photo which shows that the white light from the LED bulb is much nicer and easier on the eye than the faint orange-yellow halogen light from the rear cargo area of my Nissan Xterra! After taking a picture, I removed the halogen headlight from the back of the cargo area and installed an LED bulb. I love the improvement in dome performance and am happy with the results!
