Yes I know you can do the same thing with paper towels and rubbing alcohol. However, it's so handy to be able to rip open a packet of tissues and scrape the thermal paste off the IHS and heatsink. Oh, and let me tell you, this thing CLEANS your thermal paste like hell. One swipe and it removes most of the thermal paste from the IHS and heatsink. Depending on the surface finish of the heatsink, you may need to give it another wipe or two, but it's 100% worth the money. ALSO beware! There is a bottom half that holds the other half of the tissues, so don't throw away the box just because you're only using the top half! Be sure to shake the box to hear a few more swipes, or check the bottom half of the box.
