    Best thermal paste to wash

    This is my first CPU thermal paste solvent. When you open the small bag, what appears to be a large cloth is folded inside, e.g. B. a rag (wet). It only took ONE wipe to clean the paste from the CPU AND the fan. I bought these because I was upgrading my air cooler from Thermaltake Gravity i2 to Scythe Fuma 2. I will definitely buy them when they run out, which will take a long time. By the way, it comes in a pack of 20 pieces.

    Who would have thought they would be mandatory for system builders?

    Yes I know you can do the same thing with paper towels and rubbing alcohol. However, it's so handy to be able to rip open a packet of tissues and scrape the thermal paste off the IHS and heatsink. Oh, and let me tell you, this thing CLEANS your thermal paste like hell. One swipe and it removes most of the thermal paste from the IHS and heatsink. Depending on the surface finish of the heatsink, you may need to give it another wipe or two, but it's 100% worth the money. ALSO beware! There is a…

    Really convenient and effective

    I've never removed thermal paste, but I can't imagine any other method being easier. You'll have to rub the thick spots a bit, but that will be removed immediately. You don't have to dry anything or worry about liquid going where it shouldn't be. Throw it in the trash and wash your hands and you're done.

    Does exactly what it should.

    I have no complaints about that -- 99% IPAs are hard to come by these days, and they've done a very good job. They can also be used for new thermal pads - I was able to replace and completely erase the stock thermal pad on a new AMD Wraith Prism cooler. It's very handy if you do a lot of computer work, especially lately. . Fully recommended.

    Great item in Computers & Accessories

    Great disposable napkins for themed paste. I've been using them for over a year and now I just use them. They do a very good job of stripping and preparing both the GPU and CPU for new thermal paste. They don't tear at solder joints like paper towels. The cleaning solution dries relatively quickly and is harmless to the electronics.

    Easily removes thermal paste but leaves a mark.

    These almost miraculously remove thermal paste. However, they are not chemically cleaned and leave marks. I found that instead of the paste I used a paper towel to wipe off the residue, so I'm not sure the end result is any better. I give them the most stars because the basic claim that it easily removes thermal paste is completely true. It only works with an asterisk.

    Perfect for removing dirty thermal paste but too wet

    I got them to remove thermal paste when I fix client computers. It's great and from a reputable company. My only concern is that they get too soaked in cleaning solution, but I'm not deducting a star because it's better than being too dry and using two cloths. They fold and open quite large. and they are thick enough not to tear or form tufts of pile. I recommend!

    Alcohol wipes for computer accessories and peripherals

    You will find many wipes in this small package. Worked great for me. I needed to replace the fans on our dual socket Plex server. time saved. These are actually just alcohol swabs. Nothing special.

    Alright. I feel like I had to buff pretty hard with a tissue to remove the thermal paste. Even then, not everything will work out. The problem I have with these wipes is that they aren't wet enough and I have to scrape off the thermal paste with my fingernail. I find the Arctic Silver Solution works the best. One drop and the thermal paste begins to fall apart, requiring only light buffing. Using these wipes afterwards will be the best experience. However, you can simply use a cotton swab/soft…

    Useful little things in a pandemic!

    SO trying to build a computer during a pandemic is actually harder than you think. You will need isopropyl alcohol to remove the thermal paste. and if you don't have them Good luck with your search because all stores are sold out. Luckily.
