Review on 🌈 INSSTRO C1 RGB LED Video Light: Full Color, Rechargeable Pocket Size with 10 Scene Simulations by Mike Marks

The Insstro C1 is a versatile, compact, rechargeable RGB light that offers a range of practical applications for video and photography. It's very well designed and comes with a nice hard case and a USB-C charging cable. The housing is made of aluminum with a matte diffuser disc that protects the LEDs. Hobbyists and professionals alike will find it useful and brighter than expected. It offers a full set of color temperature, RGB, hue/saturation, and lighting effects controls. Modes are clearly displayed on the 1-inch LED screen, and settings are made using small tactile buttons. Runtime varies by mode and light output, but requires a minimum of 100 minutes for first use before requiring a charge. The threaded mount makes it easy to position with any stand or tripod. Charging with any phone's external battery also makes it truly portable. As a video light, it can be mounted on-camera, off-camera, on a pole, or outside of a window. This is best for low-light scenes for maximum impact and should be close to the subject. The effectiveness outside the frame depends on the particular setting. It works well as a compact fill with the ability to heat objects as needed, or in the background to add some ambient color instead of gels. Special effects include Lightning, Movie (or TV), Police, Fire, Ambulance, SOS, Flash or Candles (or Fireplace). Check out my sample video using candle mode to add glow to the fireplace. This can add a splash of vibrant color to a product vignette. We use a hair light directly behind the model or on an overhead pole. Some will enjoy novel effects, but I think many will enjoy finding creative uses. My first thought upon using it was that I would like to have one or two more.
