I'd like to start by saying I'm not a music lover and have never really cared about my true sound quality. However, I've bought some cheap wireless headphones in the past but they've never worked well for airplanes and I have to travel for work about 2 times a month (yes, even during a pandemic). I only tried them because they were the cheapest noise-cancelling over-ear headphones I could find and to be honest, for my use case, they were great. I hardly hear the annoying noise of an airplane at cruising altitude, and the sound itself is of sufficient quality, at least for me. high and low frequencies are very balanced, and in a word everything seems very clear to me. They also look very slick - not chunky at all - and they fit well around my ear too. I experience no pain or numbness in my ears after a typical 2-3 hour flight. Definitely recommended for the average use case.
