These lights are very beautiful straight out of the box and the materials make them feel solid. NOTE: They are not as big as in the photos, suitable for hallway lighting but too small for bedroom. So far they sound great, but then let's move on to installation. The flashlight uses a standard bracket and is easy to install, however there is a set of screws that protrude from the bracket and must be passed through the base of the flashlight to secure it. The problem is that no one thought to measure these bolts with the base of the lantern and they are a good 1/2 inch shorter. If you buy these lights, be prepared to go to the hardware and buy replacement screws or standoffs to mount them properly.
