This is a nice semi-recessed lantern. However, it is difficult to install and breaks easily. Poorly done and no direction. If I had the box I would try to return it. Wouldn't recommend it.

Absolute bullshit. All devices are too small and not long enough. Also, the plastic ring holding the cage is not big enough and will break. Buy a similar item from another manufacturer who makes a quality product.

This is excellent value for money. Exactly what I was looking for and they give good light. I have bought them twice and will be getting more to complete the rest of my home. I can't comment on the installation as our electrician did it while he was installing some other things for us but it only took a few minutes.
