gas struts for my opinion

My work vehicle is a KUV van, the struts for the back doors failed. the company wanted a stupid amount for replacements. ordered on line with a heavier lift and they work great. the hold the doors open now in the wind. great buy.

Easy solution to keep topper from bonking me in the head!

These work great - easy install - just need a flat blade screwdriver to pop the clips on the old ones - make sure you measure the old ones both open and closed - should have replaced these years ago - even made the latches work like they should - even pressure on both sides. You won't be disappointed in these.

Fast delivery, perfect fit, easy replacement.

Replaced the old struts on my 20 year old Century topper. Took about 15 minutes and a thin blade screwdriver to pry the clips loose to disengage them from the support ball joints.

I shouldn't have waited so long!

Super easy to snap off the old ones and snap in the new ones. I would recommend having a small standard screwdriver handy, it makes removing the old snap rings a lot easier.

  • Worked great only had to use one. The last ones i had were 45 lbs.

They work well for a while

It appears that the last time I purchased these were within the same year. And for that reason, I feel that they work well but don't last very long. I am using them on my ARE topper/rear glass.

Worth your money. I would buy them again.

Worked perfect on my SnugTop. I would buy these again. When installing, you only need to pull up on the retaining clip just a little bit before it will slide into place. If you pull up too much, the clip could rotate and then it becomes a hassle. Give them a shot.

Great product & price

I needed two new struts for my contractor cap door! I received them on time, and was as described. I immediately installed them with the supplied ball studs only taking 10-15 minutes! They work perfect. I will reply again after using through our cold winter (as I am as far north possible in NY) to see how they last! As of now I highly recommend them!And as for the price it was like 1/2 of price locally!

Super simple to install, and work wonderfully!

I was able to install these myself, with no mechanical knowledge, just watched a Youtube video, and these we are simple if not more simple to install. Now my back camper door opens with out falling on someones head. Thank you!Trini

The tool can be good for other projects, for my didn’t work, I was using it for a mortiser machine but it has a lot of pounds for it.Maybe is good for someone else

When these arrived they were a different brand with a different number than I had ordered, I got ready to send them back but tried them just in case and they fit and work just like the originals so I kept them and they are working perfectly.
