Recently returned to vinyl after a major upgrade to my stereo. I've added at least 50 new 180g repress vinyl that I've liked over the years. I made the mistake of cleaning them all with this device on a Sunday afternoon. Not only is this device difficult to use as 180 gram records require a lot of force to turn the records and the cleaning pads move when the record is removed from the device. After deleting the entries, checkmarks and popups are created that never existed before deleting the entries. The supplied solution is also absolute nonsense. I added 2 caps to the reservoir and now my bronze orthophonic needle is collecting sediment that needs cleaning after each writing. I had to wash all the records again in distilled water just to remove the residual cleaning solution, which didn't get rid of the newly added clicks and pops. I would not recommend this product and am concerned that I may permanently damage all of my new 180g records, 50 in total which was a significant investment. I'm waiting for Revain to deliver an ultrasonic record cleaning machine that will hopefully eliminate the clicks and pops this machine has added to my new record collection. I would avoid this product and the cleaner that came with it at all costs if you value your record collection and pen. Let's go back to Amazon.
