Review on High Reception & Long-lasting AM FM Transistor Radio, Portable Player Powered by 2 AA Batteries, Mono Headphone Socket, by Vondior - Silver by Mark Fleming

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The sound quality and sensitivity are excellent, but the construction materials are not that good.

Let's talk about the pros first. This radio has really great sound quality for its size. You certainly won't get a ghetto blaster sound with an 11 euro radio, but in terms of size and price, the small radio sounds better than expected. It also picks up most of the hard-to-reach stations near me. Trying to connect weaker stations can be a bit tricky, but it picks them up. All in all, I think it's a good radio. However, that doesn't mean everything is great. Now for the cons. The materials used to assemble the radio are not very pleasant. The plastic is some of the cheapest plastic I've ever felt on an electronic device. He is very thin. Bends like crazy and just feels cheap in every way. I suspect that dropping it from any height will seriously damage the radio. All in all I needed a radio that would fit in my power down kit and this one is perfect for the situation. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who wants to take their radio on the road. I suspect that if you accidentally drop it or even bang it the wrong way, this little radio will fall apart in no time.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not the best
