It holds everything perfectly. I use part of my file folder to store my laptop, the top shelf to store things from my wallet, the middle shelf to store important papers, and the drawer holds your desk essentials. My only complaint is that the box is just there. Therefore, when you pull it out to get things, it falls on the table with a clatter. Which makes sense because if it were on sliders or whatever it would be a little harder to put together. But I still have to get used to it, every time I reach for a pencil or scissors. Then there's the top shelf, which isn't attached either. So there have been a few instances where I accidentally picked up or knocked over a shelf and it got pushed around. However, this is not a serious problem. This makes the holder feel flimsy, but I've picked it up and moved it around so many times and I've never had a problem feeling like I need to be extra careful. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase and how I can keep everything in a neat little space so my desktop doesn't become a cluttered area.
