On the wall and I love it
I have a first generation iPad which I have mounted on this mount in my kitchen for quick news reading, recipes and so on . Between uses I put it on a slideshow display connected to my photo stream, it's amazing. The mount is strong and sturdy, but I imagine it could easily break with rough handling. For me, the iPad just sits in a mount with few inputs and outputs, so it's likely to last a long time.
