Mailed bulbs are a bad idea

My wife bought a lamp that uses those stupid pin bulbs you don't find in stores. I ordered them and all 4 arrived broken fearing they would mail order lamps! Yes! All 4 bulbs had loose parts and none worked. I will send these lamps back. And have since replaced the bulb socket on the lamp with a NORMAL socket and reinstalled and used a threaded base LED bulb instead. Problem solved!
