Review on Hansgrohe Raindance S Easy Install 4-inch Handheld Shower Head with Modern 3 RainAir, BalanceAir, and Whirl Functions (28504001) by Justin Yay

Disappointing for me

Very warm shower head with low pressure, not handheld. Anyone who uses it mainly as a standing shower, does not need pressure build-up and does not have water saving in mind will love the device, especially when it comes to a warm, gentle and long-lasting shower. .And here's why: Raindance's effect is dependent on gravity, not water pressure, and requires a drop of about 2 to 4 feet before it's felt. It reminds me of a hanging bucket with holes in the bottom, but I think it's a bit like a chill in the rain. However, if the block is removed from the mount and pointed up, the main jets (wide setting) will begin to fail after two inches. Just a few drops will make it up to four inches tall. This means that it will take time for the soap to wash off the body. The longer shower that other reviewers have mentioned isn't a luxury. It is necessary. In general, my water pressure is modest but not terrible. I've had several cheaper handheld showerheads that work better. They just didn't last long. The Hansgrohe device does not have a trickle or "off" function, so you will need to purchase an additional valve if you want this. The build quality is also good, but not outstanding. The unit is plastic, making it lightweight, but lacks the impressive "quality" of my Hansgrohe kitchen faucet, which costs about the same.

Pros
  • Nice look
Cons
  • Some flaws
