This is exactly what I was looking for! I love the savings on LED bulbs and the ability to connect an almost infinite number of filaments together without overloading the wiring or circuit, but I have the "bright white" or "bluish" look that one can get gets, always hated. from most white LED lamps. Well I'm happy to report that these LEDs are almost the same color as the clear C9 bulbs they replaced! They're not as bright, but that's because they have an opaque body compared to the clear glass of my previous lamps, but they still glow well and look great around the house. And one more thing - they are BULLETPROOF! One of the things I hated most about C9 glass bulbs was that every time I installed and removed them, I would inevitably break at least a dozen or so. They are so fragile that if I bump them into something or let them touch the ground, they will break. Well, no more broken lightbulbs with these kids! I had to replace one on the roof after installing it (only 1 of the 225 I ordered broke) and when I went to the skylight the new light slipped out of my hand and rolled down. the roof, fell 12ft to the concrete below, rebounded 2-3 times and when I got off and picked it up it didn't even have a scratch and it still worked! IMPRESSIVE! The savings in money and time alone when replacing burnt out or broken light bulbs quickly pays for itself with these LEDs. Best Christmas lights in a long time!
