The headlamp's weight is decent and I love the fact that it comes with its own mini screwdriver! 3 threes fives and we're good. The lights are bright and the beak that is a button makes it easy to find the lighting button for any age. The owl sound isn't actually an owl and I thought it might be broken, but after watching a few videos from other buyers this isn't the case. But for the money and the upside of the rest of the spotlight it's not a deal breaker but if one of the kids gets lost it's more use than a whistle! no other creature makes such a sound, and I think some might be put off by it.
