Review on πŸ“· Kasa Spot Indoor Camera 2-Pack, 1080P HD Smart Wifi Security Camera with Night Vision and Motion Detection - Works with Google Assistant and Alexa (KC100P2) by Jason Pinkney

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Ease of use, good value for money, some caveats.

Bought Kasa cameras mainly because I already use a lot of Smart Connectors and TP-Link strips so I wanted to keep everything in one app. Setup is easy. As long as I have a decent connection everywhere, live video and camera remote respond quickly with minor dropouts. I use four of these spot cameras. Two look out through the windows and two look in. Those facing the outside are useless at night as the night light simply reflects off the glass. Proper sensitivity setting for event recording requires finesse, as any change in lighting, such as B. passing clouds, which triggers recording. The cameras are the same as most security cameras. They don't actually see any movement, only a change in the image they see. During the day, my outward-facing cameras typically pick up a "movement" about every two minutes. In general I am satisfied with them. Living in a cul-de-sac in the country, I can see what's going on better when I'm at work. Plus, with two-way audio, I can yell at my dog if I catch him doing it!
