Review on Sony FE 24mm F2.8 G Full-Frame Ultra-Compact G Lens: Unleash Precision and Versatility by James Wickware

So far, so good!: Lenses for SLR cameras

Despite its small/light weight, this lens has a solid construction and excellent manual controls (aperture ring, focus ring, etc.). The body feels solid and it's a fun and easy lens for everyday photography. Although designed for a full frame sensor, I'm using this lens on a Sony A6000 (APS-C) and it's been working great so far. The sharpness is good and the bokeh is nice and soft. Although I haven't shot much with it yet, I can see it becoming one of my go-to lenses when I just want to get out and about with the camera rather than lugging around a bunch. The lens is a bit pricey, and obviously there are third-party lenses with similar ones Positioning that might be a little cheaper, but this little lens packs a lot of optical performance into a lightweight, easy-to-handle body.

Pros
  • So far satisfied
Cons
  • I'll write again later
