Screws. Such a small sawtooth bracket thickness leaves 1/32 inch to actually bite into the wood. Remember that the angled (tip) part of the propeller is for digging into the world - it makes no difference to gripping. The strength of each screw is determined by the number of turns and the width of the screw. Not only is this tiny screw short, it's also flimsy, so you might be lucky if you can get it to bite when the 2 Mod 3 threads are actually gripping the wood. It's easy = run away from this product. Don't waste your money on this product unless you use your own longer (bigger) screws. I wouldn't believe even the smallest picture on the wall. I made a custom 17.5 x 17.5 inch (1.5 inch) oak frame. Those tiny screws weren't long enough to crash into a tree. It just made a small hole and then fell out. Terrible - I also bought the brackets for the back wall. These screws are perfect for the saw tooth bracket. So I used a hanging device, the screws don't matter at all.
