May be acceptable for use on a single screen rather than multiple screens.

I took the board to illustrate the problem with this mount. If you're giving yourself unlimited space in fantasy land, this isn't a problem as the base of the mount can be slid to avoid sideways tipping, but it's still annoying after you've crawled across the floor. at the table more than once or twice. The issues could be completely eliminated and make this product a five star if it had a VESA mount design similar to that of the Arctic Z1 Basic that allows for 360 degree rotation. With a single standard-width monitor, you'll hardly notice how much stress this mount can handle even at half the power rating. When you start assembling monitors, you quickly realize that you can't do anything without another mount or extra work. Unless you have a very wide desk, like I happen to have, I highly recommend considering a mount like the Arctic Z1 Basic with its rotating VESA mount so you can have the level monitor in ANY orientation without the hassle having to test mount placement errors. Tilting back and forth is not a problem, but very noticeable. The further from the base your monitor is, the more pronounced the deflection of this stand will be. As your monitor gets bigger, the problem also becomes more apparent, not just because of the added weight, but mostly because of the extra length that makes the height difference between the edges bigger and more noticeable. Do not purchase this mount if you are using it to connect multiple displays together. You will regret it. I thought I would have preferred different heights on a split arm so the arms could be stacked on top of each other, but after having the monitor on it I realized it was very unlikely I would ever want that. Position the monitor directly over the bracket. The carrying capacity isn't technically excessive, but it flexes a lot more than you'd like and has limited adjustment options to compensate. I think I'll probably return three Mount-Its! MI-705 mounts and buy this ARCTIC Z1 Basic to replace them.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
