These Edison style dimmable LED bulbs work great. The only thing I would blame them for is that they look like an LED version of an Edison bulb. I wish they looked more real. But now they are used in Hawaii in five-light candelabra. In Hawaii, electricity costs about $0.50 per kWh. Ouch! By replacing five old 60W incandescent bulbs with these 6W LED bulbs, the energy used to power the candelabra dropped from 300W to 30W, a saving of 270W. So if the candelabra is on 4 hours per night, the saving is about 1 kWh per night. The new bulbs will pay for themselves in less than two months, and the dining area that houses the candelabra lamp has the added benefit of being slightly cooler. Win win if you ask me. I wouldn't trade them in for old bulbs, although the old bulbs looked a little better.
