. The hammock is barely wide enough to cover the back seat of my 2016 Ford F-150 Super Crew Cab. The side flaps would have been an improvement to protect the seat a bit more as the cover currently exposes the top edges of the seat when our 60lb Shepherd mix is moved. Also, the straps under the hammock, designed to secure the hammock to the front corners of the back seat, don't seem quite right for this truck. I managed to get them in place but time will tell if they stay in place. Our dog seems to be comfortable in the hammock and certainly provides the necessary protection from dirty paws, drool and dog hair. I doubt this will keep her alone in the backseat as she likes to climb forward if I exit the truck with her in the backseat. So I bought one of these straps for her seat belt that snaps into the seat belt buckle. So far she's kept that in the back seat where we want her. The only problem is that sometimes the strap gets tangled around her leg.
