HARD, NOT "EXTRA " SOFT - MAYBE USE THIS TO CLEAN MUG. BUT I HAVE A USEFUL SUCH AS

I would like to give Oral-B the benefit of the doubt on this matter but I cannot. I have been using Oral-B soft head compact toothbrushes for many years. While these bristles didn't quite meet my definition of softness, they were mostly doable with bristles at the same level. From the looks of it this is now the ONLY soft toothbrush they make and I'm not impressed. The first 40% of the graduated brush protrudes for a deep clean. and these brushes are thick and hard. The rest is two-tiered, with softer bristles separated by two parallel sets of taller, stiffer bristles that clean between teeth. IMO, that's overkill for a gentle, soft brush. She's really hard as a board. Here's my life hack: I boil my toothbrushes every day to keep them sterile and put them in a cup of VERY HOT WATER for a few seconds, which softens completely. Soft enough to brush my teeth comfortably without feeling like I'm wearing off all the enamel. Either that or throw the brush away. I buy really soft single stage bristle brushes from a medical company. Otherwise, I also use a plush but ultra-soft baby toothbrush and a baby toothbrush. Both are my fallbacks. I don't know why nobody else makes soft bristles. It's as bad as brushing your teeth too hard. The result is the same and not good for tooth enamel.
