This is a very well built product. I'm sure it will last for many years and will most likely be a gift for my 7 year old son if I take good care of it. The dimensions are quite deceiving though, I figured I was getting at least 5 inches of internal width. No, it's 3 1/4 inches. This is for directly storing and serving your s'mores like candy or a cookie jar without a lid. I also want to be able to keep that food fresh and ensure that no insects or critters can contaminate the food by keeping everything tightly sealed and protected from the environment. I hate picking up and taking apart items on this tray every time I want to take it outside to ensure food stays safe and contamination-free. (including my 7 year old) I was able to fit 3 small plastic medicine cups with lids inside, each 3 1/4" diameter. Other than that I don't think there's anything else that can be stored here as there is no more space. I will be making one Set up station with all 3 main ingredients and see if I can fit any additional wow factor items here without expecting too much. :-( All in all a good product just requires my creativity to figure out what to do, to make sure it works for me and my family...especially my 7 year old.And it can only work with the glasses...my mind tells me I need a million marshmallows but I'm pretty sure I do don't do that how much marshmallow can fit in these little apothecary jars without crushing them plastic they are so good for the outside patio don't worry about broken glass and they s look and feel like real glass! The lids are not hermetically sealed. But still not skinny or skinny! I tied little bows with hot glue and glued the gun...boom...cute and portable fun s'mores station for adults and kids!lol :-)
