I ordered this dress to wear to my granddaughter's wedding. I need the shoulder straps to go up a bit as the chest has dropped a bit. The dress compresses very easily and packs up well, it could be slightly increased in the waist, but with a jacket no one could tell for sure that it was a bit big in the waist. The dress was very comfortable. I was afraid the lining would get too hot as I'm a very hot person but I wore it for 7 hours without breaking a sweat. It was very convenient. I got so many compliments like "this dress is beautiful", "you look so beautiful in this dress", "WOW what a beautiful dress". This was repeated throughout the evening, even by people I didn't know. All in all a great hit.
